Hundreds of women in northern Kenya join together to pray for rain—which they haven’t seen in almost a year. The community plans to repeat the practice every day until rain comes. In response to this crisis, Mercy Corps is providing cash assistance so families can purchase essential needs like food and water. We’ve helped thousands of families that have been deeply affected by the drought. We are also expanding access to water by making repairs to infrastructure, installing water vending machines, and cleaning waterholes. In addition, we are working with farmers to improve the health of their livestock and grazing lands.

We Ourselves, Our Children, Animal Species, and Biodiversity deserve a sustainable, safe, healthy and extinction free planet. We must work together to overcome the hurdles and obstacles that are currently preventing this all for the sake of greed, need, and other special interest. We must as it is now a dire necessity. We all have a right to life. || "The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything." - Albert Einstein
